Md2 Company Tee

here's our company tee. the five guys repesent us, the five hunks in the company, let me introduce.... from left to right. Focus, Bao zhu, Max, Shaq, Vince. we inlcuded a golden embroidery of our company logo.

this is how we work. haha.... well but whos the botak then? perharps tis illustration is done during the our OTs... focus, passion n drive is all we need in this line. we have juz uploaded our web. you can visit www.md2studio.com.

Heat Transfer Print

heat transfer print is a process where the artwork is printed on transfer paper and thereafter heat press onto blank t-shirt. the cost of such print is charge based on the size of artwork. it always cost more to print on coloured shirt than white shirt. there is no limit in colour usage and what is see on screen is what you get.
*you can refer to the washing instructions beow on how to preserve the colours for such print.
advantage: can achieve all colours and complicated design. good for low quantity print.
disadvantage: has a feel of soft paper glued onto shirt. there will be a border around the artwork.

Silkscreen Printing

screen printing is a deocrating process of transferring ink onto t-shirts, jackets, pants, sweatshirts and various garments and textiles. screen printed is commonly used for tee printing.
silkscreen printing involves in making of moulds/boards for individual colours for print, hence the size and number of colours in the artwork will greatly affect the price. eg. the NCC tee (white) shown below requires 2 x moulds for the colours, green & black. the price of each mould costs around $20 plus. if your artowrk consist of 3 colours, then the cost of the mould will be $60 plus excluding the printing fees...
advantage: low price for bulk print with limited colours. able to achieve the desired colours and artwork.
disadvanatage: as artwork is printed on the shirt, the colours of e artwork might get dull after extensive wash for a couple of years.

this set of work is for ZhongHua NCC (land) tee. the artwork is prepared for silkscreen printing and hence numbers of color plays an important part in the design. as mentioned above "Back: A3 Size Artwork (2C)", the 2C here refers to 2 colors. there was a slight delay in the production, due to the sizing for the officers and artwork. it has lots of fine details with cant be printed out, and hence we have to rework and send for print again. I'm sorie guys, will get it done by this month. I will touch on the different types of tee printing n pricing in the next session. stay tune.

look here! heres the comprehensive washing instructions for your beloved heat transfer print t-shirt... do take sometime and digest ya. cos it will save your money...

turn t-shirt inside out

no chloride bleach

mild detergent only

max washing temp 40

don’t tumble dry

don’t iron directly on the image

if image becomes lighter after wash, place a blank piece of white paper on top of the image and hand iron evenly over the image to restore the colours

NYP BM0613 Class Tee

had a hard time to finalise the design for Clarie's class. the first visual is based on their requirements of having a logo infront and individual names and number on the back. the logo is designed by Focus.

thereafter, they wana a design base on their interest perhaps hobby, Star gazing after lessons. spent quite some time on tis design. cool rite. mostly likely this will be accepted as its according to what they requested.

the star gazing was rejected... wats wrong? anyway, here's the fianl version of the artwork for class bm0603. finally, we got it right. after much amendments, its on production.

this design is for my bro's class, mk0603, in nyp. infact the they have got a class tee but was quite badly done due to the fabric and print (cant comment much on this). hence md2creative offers to design class tee for them at $19.80.

well, the theme they gave us was "balls for all", doesnt it sounds weird, at least for the ladies in class? haha. we turn it around and did a illustration for them to feature the main sports. seriously cant create of a decent work with "balls for all", coz the phrase is juz too sexy.

we did the tee design as a favour for a friend, a complicated guy who needs a complex design ya. the final tee print out is simple and clean due to the printing cost. well, just need to be pratical thats all. only then we understand the limitations of tee printing to suit the budget. we learn n we grow.
at such we can give proper advise now to tee design and the kinda fabric.
